New Samsung Galaxy S4

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is here. One of the most anticipated handsets in a while, Samsung took the wraps off the device at a glittering event at New York's famous Radio City Music Hall. The Samsung Galaxy S4 is a Smartphone manufactured by Samsung Electronics. It was announced in New York on March 14, 2013. The smartphone allegedly ranks No. 1 on Rightware’s Browsermark 2.0 browser benchmark, well before its release or even its unveiling. It is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S III. It has new software features, a 13-megapixel back camera, and a 5-inch 1080p display. It will be available in late April on 327 networks worldwide and in 155 countries.



The Galaxy S4 features the Exynos 5 Octa processor, based on the big.LITTLEarchitecture from ARM comprised of a 1.6 GHz quad-core Cortex-A15 and a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7. Of these eight cores, only four cores can be active at any given time. The version sold in the United States will contain a 1.9 GHz QualcommSnapdragon 600 APQ8064T processor.
The mobile operating system of the Galaxy S4 is Google's Android with Samsung's custom Touch Wiz "Nature UX" graphical user interface (GUI). The Galaxy S4 is expected to come in 16, 32, 64 GB models and black and white colors and run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The screen features a 5-inch (130 mm) Pentile RGBG Full HD Super AMOLED screen with 441 pixels per inch.
The S4 comes in two distinct variations that differ primarily in the internal hardware. The international S4 version has Samsung's Exynos 5 system on a chip (SoC) while the United States version has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600.
The S4 is somehow smaller than the Galaxy S3 at 136.1 x 69.8mm. It's a 5-inch handset, which is exactly the same height as its predecessor (5.38 x 2.34 x 0.5 inches).
It also appears to be unbelievably thin - considering the amount of tech stuffed inside - with the Samsung Galaxy S4 measuring a svelte 7.9mm.
It's a whole gram lighter than its predecessor too, at 130g.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 will roll out with a staggering 327 operators across 155 countries and the Galaxy S4 release date is April 26.


We expect the Samsung Galaxy S4 price to be about US$725.
